Application tips
- Wash your hands, disinfect them and put on gloves;
- Disinfect the client’s hands and assess the condition of the hands and nails;
- Clean the nail plate, push back the cuticles with a cuticle pusher or a wooden stick;
- File the nail plate with a 100/180 grit buffer or gently with a 180-grit file;
- Clean off the dust with a soft brush;
- Degrease with a traditional Cleaner;
- Use Acid Free Primer or Acid Primer for a more demanding nail plate;
- Place the template;
- Apply a thin layer of base, e.g. Perfect Base or Protein Base, to the natural nail plate and cure in a Multi LED lamp for 30 seconds;
- Apply the first layer of gel to the nail plate and template to create the so-called frame;
- Cure in the lamp for 30 seconds
- Remove the template by squeezing it from the bottom, peel the wings off the finger and remove the template dragging it downwards.
- Take a small amount of gel and spread it over the entire nail creating the so-called slip layer - do not cure it!
- Take a larger portion of the gel and place it at the apex
- Start spreading the gel around the nail surface by dragging it gently left and right in the so-called smile lines - do not press the brush against the product,
- After building the desired shape of the nail, cure it in the Multi LED lamp for 30-60 seconds;
- Remove the sticky layer with a cotton pad soaked in the Wipe Off Cleaner;
- Prepare the shape and surface of the nail using a 100/180 grit file;
- Smooth the surface with a 100/180 grit buffer;
- Clean the nail with a cotton pad soaked in the Wipe Off Cleaner
- Apply the chosen gel polish colour and cure each layer in the Multi LED lamp for 30 seconds;
- Apply an appropriate top coat, e.g. Wet Look, Tip Top, Super Matte; cure in the Multi LED lamp for 30 seconds.
- If the top coat has a sticky layer, wait about a minute and remove it with a cotton pad soaked in the Shea Super Shine Cleaner. To enhance the shine of the styling, you can finish it off by polishing the nails with a dry cotton pad until you hear a characteristic squeaking sound.
- In the case of tops that do not leave a sticky layer, wait about a minute before applying any care products
