Application tips
1. Prepare the natural nail plate for styling - matt and work out the cuticles.
2. Position the nail form so that it fits perfectly under the nail. If necessary, trim the form on the edges, based on the indications of the line color:
- Black lines: indicate how the mold is supported relative to the axis of the finger
- Yellow lines: are used to give the mold a flatter shape
- Green lines: are used to deepen the form, with nails having deeper growth points or, for example, overgrown hyponychium;
- Red lines: help to release the lateral peri-nail shafts, cutting out the so-called ‘devils’; the length of the lines has been taken into account to the actual need to cut them to properly release the shafts;
3.. Apply the chosen product to the form, to build up the skeleton of the chosen shape.
4. Make the extension with the chosen material and the appropriate method for it.
5. If necessary, file out the shape with a 100/180 file.
6. Smooth the surface of the built-up shape with a 100/180 or 180/220 grain polisher.
7. Dust off the surface and wash with a Wipe Off Cleaner.
8. Apply your chosen top coat and cure in the lamp.
9. If the chosen top coat has left a tacky layer, remove it with Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner.
PROTIP: for ease of working with the nail forms, the red lines - for the ‘devils’ can, when adjusted to suit, be cut out completely. When working on edge and russian almond shapes - for ease of working, the forms can be cut out along the purple line.
