Application tips
-
Wash and disinfect your and your client's hands. Put on gloves. Evaluate the condition of your hands and nails to make sure there are no contraindications to the treatment.
-
Push back the cuticles with a hoof or stick and work them out with a cutter, e.g. 9, 1.
-
Shape your nails with a 180/240 or 100/180 gradation file.
-
Use a 100/180 gradation buffer to thoroughly matte the plate.
-
Remove dust with a soft brush.
-
Using a dust-free swab and Cleaner No. 1, thoroughly degrease the plate.
-
Apply a suitable primer (Acid Free Primer or Acid Primer).
-
Apply a thin layer of the chosen base cure in the lamp (30 seconds in the MultiLed lamp).
-
Apply a second thicker layer of base to gently level or overbuild the nail if needed. You can level the surface of the base coat with a thin brush, such as Master Nail Art 007, or turn your hand over to use gravity to shape the upper nail arch. Re-cure the styling. Due to the thicker layer of product, you can extend the curing time to 60 seconds in a MultiLed lamp.
-
Apply the first layer of color without pressing the brush to the surface of the plate and cure 30 seconds in a MultiLed lamp.
-
Cover the plate with a second coat of color. You can even out the cuticle area and side shafts with the Master Nail Art brush 004 or 006.Cure in a MultiLed lamp 30 seconds.
-
Secure the styling with a top such as Tip Top or Wet Look and put your hands in the lamp again for 30-60 seconds.
-
Wait a minimum of 60 seconds for the top to cool.
-
If you chose a top with a sticky layer*, remove it with a cotton swab soaked in Shea Super Shine Effect Cleaner #3.
-
To add even more shine to your nails, you can polish them with a dry cotton ball at the end.
*Top without a sticky layer, you do not need to wipe with Cleaner No. 3 Shea Super Shine Effect. After waiting a minimum of 1 minute, you can apply your chosen Shea Elixir with keratin to the nail shafts.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPLICATION:
1.We use an alternate technique at work when applying color and cure the nails one at a time.
2.Spread the color carefully at the cuticles and all over, and finally-to even out the color-pull the whole a little more in the air.
3. Fine gel polishes are as demanding as rubbed effects on the plate. This means that the surface of the plate must be perfectly prepared.
PROTIP:
Remember to keep the brush from the bottle of hybrid varnish pressed against the surface of the plate when painting with colors with particles, so the color will settle and level out more nicely, leaving no streaks.
If a thicker layer is applied, a more abundant sticky layer may remain on the nail, which can make it difficult to spread the top perfectly. In this case, it's best to remove the sticky layer of color to perfectly model the light line.
