Description
Pana Cotta is a white acrylogel dedicated to nail extensions, replenishing regrowth, hardening the natural nail plate and replenishing nail design defects. The thick consistency of Indigo acrylic gels makes them an ideal product for learning nail extensions. It lays down on the plate exactly as the stylist guides it-it does not run down on the cuticles, it does not change its position even when the hand is turned away. It is ideal for working on both classic stencils and top molds. Pana Cotta acrylic gel guarantees full control of the product regardless of the ambient temperature. It can be used both as a base product for further styling, e.g. under pastel or neon colours, beating out their depth, but it can also work perfectly on its own, covered only with your favourite top.

Application tips
Extending on a form:
- Remember to disinfect the hands first (yours and your clients’). Put on gloves, then assess the condition of your client’s hands and nails and check whether there are any contraindications to the procedure.
- Push back the cuticles (using a cuticle pusher or a wooden stick) and remove them with an e-file bit (e.g. Cuticle 9).
- Make sure to matt the nail plate gently but evenly using a 100/180 grit buffer and remove any dust with a soft brush.
- Soak a lint-free cotton pad in the Classic Cleaner and thoroughly degrease the nail plate.
- Apply an appropriate primer - 90% of the time it will be the Acid Free Primer. For a more demanding nail plate, use an Acid Primer.
- Regardless of the chosen product, apply it in a minimal amount and only onto the natural nail plate, without touching the cuticles.
- Apply a thin layer of a selected gel polish base and cure it for 30 seconds in the Multi LED lamp.
- Align and place the template.
- A frame is not obligatory, you can apply acrylic gel directly to the template.
- If you decide on a frame - spread a small amount of gel, e.g. Take Your Time, on the nail plate and the template and create a frame in the desired shape.
- Cure in the Multi LED lamp for 30-60 seconds.
- Squeeze the form, detach it from the finger and gently remove it by dragging it downwards
- Pick up a portion of the selected acrylic gel, e.g. onto a wooden stick and place it in the apex area.
- Moisten the stick in the Wipe Off Cleaner and start pushing the product towards the cuticle area - use a stamping motion without excessive pressure.
- When the stick starts sticking to the product, re-wet it with the Wipe Off Cleaner.
- To smooth and spread the product towards the free edge, use a brush - it can be a dedicated acrylic gel brush with a spatula, your favourite gel brush or even an acrylic brush.
- Remember the correct structure and, while working, take into account creating a perfect upper arch, apex and hairline.
- Soak the brush in the Wipe Off Cleaner from time to time to prevent it from sticking to the acrylic mass.
- Cure in the Multi LED lamp, depending on the thickness and selected colour: from 30 to 90 seconds.
- If necessary, repeat the process, taking into account the correct structure of the extended nail and cure it in the Multi LED lamp one more time.
- Remove the dispersion (sticky) layer with a cotton pad soaked in the Wipe Off Cleaner, both from the top and bottom of the nail.
- Depending on what’s needed, prepare the nail surface with a 100/180 grit buffer or a 100/180 grit file and build the appropriate shape and curvature of the nail.
- Remove all of the dust and clean the nails with a cotton pad soaked in the Wipe Off Cleaner.
- You can finish off the nails with a top coat - you can choose a gel polish or a gel one. You can also apply a selected colour of gel polish to a matted surface.
- After applying and curing two layers of colour, cover the whole styling with your favourite top coat and cure in the lamp for 30-60 seconds.
- Wait about a minute for the top layer to cool down - removing the sticky layer or applying care products too quickly may reduce the shine of the styling.
- If the product requires it, remove the dispersion layer with a cotton pad soaked in the Shea Super Shine Cleaner.
- Finally, you can polish the nails with a dry, lint-free cotton pad to make the nails look even more beautiful. You will hear a characteristic squeaking sound once it’s done.
