Application tips
- Remember to disinfect the hands first (yours and your clients’). Put on gloves, then assess the condition of your client’s hands and nails and check whether there are any contraindications to the procedure.
- Push back the cuticles (using a cuticle pusher or a wooden stick) and remove them with an e-file bit (e.g. Cuticle 9).
- Make sure to matt the nail plate gently but evenly using a 100/180 grit buffer and remove any dust with a soft brush.
- Soak a lint-free cotton pad in the Classic Cleaner and thoroughly degrease the nail plate.
- Apply an appropriate primer - 90% of the time it will be the Acid Free Primer. For a more demanding nail plate, use an Acid Primer.
- Regardless of the chosen product, apply it in a minimal amount and only onto the natural nail plate, without touching the cuticles.
- Apply a thin layer of a selected gel polish base and cure it for 30 seconds in the Multi LED lamp.
- Place the template.
- Apply a thin layer of base, e.g. Perfect Base or Protein Base, to the natural nail plate and cure it in the Multi LED lamp for 30 seconds.
- Apply the first layer of gel to the nail and the template to create the so-called frame. Cure it in the lamp.
- Apply a second, thicker layer of building gel, taking into account the correct nail structure.
- If necessary, you can turn the hand over to shape the upper arch more comfortably.
- Cure in the lamp for 30-60 seconds.
- To remove the form, squeeze the template from underneath, peel the wings off the finger and gently remove the template, dragging it downwards.
- Remove the sticky layer with a cotton pad soaked in the Wipe Off Cleaner.
- Prepare the shape and surface of the nail using a 100/180 grit file.
- Smooth the surface with a 100/180 grit buffer.
- Clean the nails with a cotton pad soaked in the Wipe Off Cleaner.
- Apply the selected gel polish and cure each layer in the Multi LED lamp for 30 seconds.
- Apply a top coat, e.g. Wet Look, Tip Top, Super Matte. Cure in the Multi LED lamp for 30 seconds.
- Wait a minute for the product to cool down.
- If the top coat has a sticky layer, remove it with a cotton pad soaked in the Shea Super Shine Cleaner.
- In the case of tops that do not leave a sticky layer, wait about a minute before applying any care products.
- To enhance the shine of the styling, you can finish off by polishing the nails with a dry cotton pad until you hear a characteristic squeaking sound.
