How to create a mermaid effect on hybrid nails? Discover the Indigo recipe

Stencil extensions:

1. Wash hands, disinfect and wear gloves
2. Assess the condition of client's hands and nails
3. Clean the nail plate, remove cuticles with nail pick or wooden stick
4. Grind nails with 180 grit file or 240 grit mandrel file
5. Remove dust with a dusting brush.
6. Degrease with Cleaner 1
7. Apply Acid Free Primer or Acid Primer for more demanding tiles
8. Apply stencil
9. Apply a thin layer of base e.g. Protein Base or Perfect Base to the natural plate and cure under a MultiLed lamp for 30 seconds
10. Apply a first layer of Builder Gel Mermaid to the natural plate and stencil to create the so-called skeleton (cure under the lamp).
11. Apply a second, thicker layer of Builder Gel Mermaid to the nail, taking into account the correct build up (apex and upper arch) and then cure under the MultiLed lamp for 60 seconds
12. Remove stencil
13. Wipe off tacky layer with Cleaner Wipe Off
14. Work the shape and surface with a 100/180 grit file
15. Smooth the surface with a 100/180-grit buffer
16. Apply your chosen Top Coat, e.g. Wet Look, Tip Top, Super Matte; cure under a MultiLed Light for 30 seconds
