Application tips
- Wash and disinfect your and your client's hands. Put on gloves. Assess the condition of the client's hands and nails to make sure there are no contraindications to the treatment.
- Push back the cuticles with a hoof or stick and work them out with a cutter, such as Cuticle 9, 1.
- Shorten your nails accordingly using a 180/240 or 100/180 gradation file.
- Use a 100/180 gradation buffer or a mandrel with a 240 gradation overlay to thoroughly matte the plate. You can use cutters: Diamond II or Diamond III.
- Clean the plate of dust with a brush, brush or compressed air.
- Soak a dust-free swab with Cleaner No. 1 and thoroughly degrease the plate with it.
- Apply a suitable primer (Acid Free Primer or Acid Primer).
- Choose the shape of the tips and match the appropriate size to the individual nail. Pay attention to the width of the tip-it should fit exactly to the sides of the natural plate, it should not be too narrow or too wide.
- Apply a thin layer of your chosen base, such as Protein Base, and cure in the lamp (30 seconds in a MultiLed lamp).
- Cover the inner surface of the nail tip at the cuticles with Protein Base and apply it to the nail in such a way that pressing it from the cuticles towards the free edge, move the base along the plate.
- Cure the base with tips in this position in the MultiLed lamp for 60 seconds.
- If necessary, you can shorten the nail or reshape the free edge, as well as work out the area around the nail shaft, such as with the Karbid 6 Multicolor cutter.
- Grind the surface with a 100/180 gradation buffer and clean the dust with a brush or compressed air.
- If necessary, clean the surface with a cotton swab soaked in Wipe Off Cleaner.
- Paint your nails with any color to achieve full coverage or make the ornament of your choice. Cure each layer of product for 30 seconds in a MultiLed lamp.
- Secure the styling with a top, such as Tip Top or Wet Look, and put your hands back in the lamp for 30-60 seconds.
- Wait a minimum of 60 seconds for the top to cool.
- If you chose a top with a sticky layer*, remove it with a cotton swab soaked in Cleaner No. 3 - Shea Super Shine Effect.
- To add even more shine to your nails, you can polish them with a dry cotton ball at the end.
*Top without a sticky layer, you do not need to wipe with Cleaner No. 3 Shea Super Shine Effect. After waiting a minimum of 1 minute, you can apply your chosen Shea Elixir with keratin to the nail shafts.
PROTIPS:
- If it's not possible to choose a perfectly matching tip size, take the one that is a tad larger and file the sides to the right width.
- Instead of covering the inside of the tip with the base, you can also apply a layer of it to the plate, and only on it put the tip in a rocking motion and cure in the lamp.
- For the initial fixation of the tips on the plate, a small, portable LED light will work great.
- You can glue the tips slightly below the cuticles, if you later refill the area with a base or builder gel.
- Do not wipe the tips with Cleaner No. 1, as it may affect their properties and durability.
- If the base spills on the pad after pressing the tip, do not forget to wipe it off before curing.
- REMOVAL
We recommend removing the styling with a cutter or file. Residues from the plate can be dissolved with remover type products.
